I Am Having Server Pain In My Lower Abdomen. I

i am having server pain in my lower abdomen. i had surgery on my knee(knee replacement) 19 days ago. I know the medicine(pain killers) can cause constipation but last night and today the pain is very bad.
pain, cramping
is this normal or is something else going on?
