I Am On My 8th Day Taking SMZ-TMP DS 800-160

i am on my 8th day taking SMZ-TMP DS 800-160 MG tablet twice a dayfor a UTI. yesterday i experienced some stomach pain and nausea and a foul taste in my mouth and spitting up saliva that is thicker than normal. i have GERD can i take pepsid, which i normally do? also last night i had difficulty falling asleep. i only slept for 3 hours. also i was having twitching or spasms in my stomach and legs. should i stop the medication or continue for the full 10 course or would 8 days be sufficient?
