I Am Taking Metaprolol 50 Mg Twice Daily For HP,

i am taking metaprolol 50 mg twice daily for HP, but systolic pressure still remains around 150. now i am directed to take clinidipine 10mg along with the usual medicine. i am slightly asthmatic and allergic. is it advisable to take both the medicines?
