I Cannot Close Completely My Index Finger, It Is Painful

i cannot close completely my index finger, it is painful if i do . but when I take pill for my gout attack that is indocin it completely is cured but temprory and again happens. I also us one kind of Advil as per a pharmacist advise but is not as good as indoin. It happened before to me and twice a specialist injected something to my finger. what I can do? I exercise karate may be it has bad effect i dont know.
