I Do Have Pounding Sound In My Ear Mostly At

i do have pounding sound in my ear mostly at night time and some time day time and also i noticed that in side my left ear is dry. when doctor gave me some drops in few days that sound was getting less and very low but now again it is there, when i put oil it keeps a bit down.. why is this and is it ok to put oil everyday??
