I Fractured My Fifth Metecarpel A Week Ago..was Supposed To

i fractured my fifth metecarpel a week ago..was supposed to see a a orthapetic in 2-3 days..is that normal. i havent made it cause i didnt have money.and i was very mean at hospital cause i was intoxicated..and they put a splint n wraps on it cause swelling was so bad. and my hand is burning..is that normal
