I Had A Cervical Polyp Removed And The Dr Used

i had a cervical polyp removed and the dr used silver nitrate after removing it. 3 days later i started feeling some discomfort like itching. by day #5 it was more itchy, it almost felt like yeast infection, in fact there is some white discharge happening which i did not have before. can silver nitrate cause yeast infection?
