.. I Had A Fall On Thursday .. Got X

.. i had a fall on thursday .. got x rays on both elbows .. doctor told me there is good news /bad news .. bad news is he said i broke both elbows .. good news is that the breaks do not require a cast .. my right arm seems to be almost functional albeit weak .. but my left elbow is almost immobile .. because i was in an emergency room .. the doctor had to tend to a serious case and i waited .. waited .. then just went home .i dont have it in a sling .. im using painkillers and applying ice packs to it .. just was wondering why it is so weak and very difficult to move .. im assuming i should keep it immobilized and was hoping you could tell me other important measures i should be taking .. thx you..
