I Had A Severe Allegery To Flagel (hope I Spelt

i had a severe allegery to flagel (hope i spelt that right) which caused me to have bad inflamed skin rash all over my body, I stopped taking it the hospital gve me intravenous antihistamine as well as steroid for skin, this was back in July, I now have a chest infection is it ok for me to take amoxycillin for this?
