I Have A 14 Month Old Grandson Who Got Impatago

i have a 14 month old grandson who got impatago about 2 weeks ago, my daughter brought him to a walkin clinic who advised he got a allergic reaction from bractroban. was informed to give him benadryl for 48 hours and have no progress to start another antibiotic. i am very concerned as his eyes are swollen to the point were there almost shut, his whole body is bright red and hot to touch , and his skin is so scaly.
