I Have A New Partner Who Has Had Chlamydia Recently,

i have a new partner who has had chlamydia recently, and has finished her treatment... as a precaution i am being tested to ensure im clear before we engage in intercourse, and so she needn't worry about my sexual health either... ive also perchased the treatment (14 pill variety) to start after ive provided my urine sample... my question is; what is the diffrence between taking the 2 pill tratment and the 14, and is one more effective than the other? (My reason for buying precautions is my last partner was unfaithful- A LOT- and i would rather be safe than sorry)
