I Have A Pain Underneath My Right Foot, Focused More

i have a pain underneath my right foot, focused more towards the heel; but the entire area is tender. If I sit for extended periods it hurts when I get up, but it subsides, but not completely, as I walk on it. The current occurrence started on Monday, but it has come and gone in the past.
