I Have A Pimple In My Back Just 2" Down

i have a pimple in my back just 2" down to left shoulder.this is an old pimple since last 5-6 years and it is in little hard and have no face to push out the dirty things.once or twice only i tried to push out the dirty object .it is always in tight condition that can not be push out.Dose it need a minor operation.what should i do kindly advise me is it harmful if i hold it for life long.my age is 57 year(male)kindly help me sir.
