I Have A Pimple On My Chin That I Have

i have a pimple on my chin that i have popped. i read to put hot water on it to seal it, and ice to reduce swelling. i have been messing with it and a new, small head formed. i popped it again and a little open cut is now on my chin. I iced it to reduce swelling but a circle of hardness formed around it after i put on the 2% staylic acid. what should i do?
