I Have A Raised Area In The Back Of The

i have a raised area in the back of the right side of my neck that fluctuates in size, but is never bigger than a quarter. i have had stiffness on my right side of my neck for a year and a half. Along with the stiffness I get a feeling of nasal drip in the back of my throat. Could this have something to do with he parotid gland in the back of my ear.
