I Have A Terrible Case Of Head Lice And My

i have a terrible case of head lice and my doctor prescribed permethrin cream and told me to put it on my head all night. the direction on the box are for scabies (i am glad i dont have, lice is bad enough) i dont know whether to put it on a clean towel dry head of on a dry head. do i rinse after ten minutes like it says online for hair rinses or apply and leave for 10 hours?
