I Have Been Diagnosed With Orthostatic Primary Tremor. Current Medication

i have been diagnosed with orthostatic Primary tremor. Current medication is Gabapentin. I have my doctor to let me wean myself off as I am finding my side effects just too severe. My memory is not great now where as before it was excellent. I am experiencing severe sweats (yes it is hot in Sydney) but not that hot.
Is there any other treatment you know of? it looks like I am getting worse
