I Have Been On Alendronic Acid For About 2yrs My

i have been on alendronic acid for about 2yrs my dentist says they would not be able to take any teeth out whilst on them and i would have be off them for 6mths before they would consider it somethink to do with bone in my jaw can you please explain this as it doesnt make sence to me
