I Have Cold Already And Today While Travelling By An

i have cold already and today while travelling by an air craft during the journey i had pain in my ear which kept on growing i shut my ears from fingers and then the pain increased the pain grew to my left face near my left eye which was pinching and since then my left ear is blocked it's been 3 hours now. is this serious or the blockage will just fade away and the pain was normal? or should i consult a doctor about this. please reply asap
