I Have Had A Red Bump On The Hood Of

i have had a red bump on the hood of my vagina. at first it wasn't itchy and now it only hurts when I touch it and sometimes it itches, not as much though. it's only one red bump. could it be an infected ingrown hair? because it just recently came after a day or two of shaving.
