I Have Had A Very Sore Spot At The Base

i have had a very sore spot at the base of my head in the soft spot at the top of my spine ..when i press it it seems that pain radiates to the rest of my head in a kind of ache..am also feeling a little whoosy and thick headed..not sure wht this may be..its been going on for over a week. I appreciate any advice you may have.
