I Have Had Reflux But It Does Not Really Feel

i have had reflux but it does not really feel like acid reflux. It only tastes like acid in the morning when i haven't eaten anything and then when i eat something i reflux all day and it tastes like what i just ate until i eat something else. I have had many tests and they have all come back clear for a hiatal hernia. I am really confused what this might be. I also have a thyroid problem and it is causing my ears to pound and ring. I thought they might all be connected
