I Have One Finger (next To The Pinky) That Has

i have one finger (next to the pinky) that has turned crimson from the bender knuckle to the tip. It does not hurt ,is not numb ,nor is it swollen or stiff. I have not hit or bumped it or done anything to it. I do not smoke, but have borderline hypertension. I am not overweight( 6'--185 lbs) am active. I am a woodworker and do have some symptoms of carpal tunnel developing from sanding with tools.
