I Have Recently Found Out I Might Have Herpes, I

i have recently found out i might have herpes, i used to have regular sex (not with a boyfriend) but i have started to masturbate. for the first time i did it after i found out i could possibly have it (herpes) i was fine, but the second time i started to bleed like i was on my period and have really sharp pains in my cervix area (not like period cramps they are really quick pains, but constant) i was just wondering should i be getting this looked into? could it be more than herpes?
