I Have Shingles On My Face And In My Left

i have shingles on my face and in my left ear .i have taken the medication for it it has been 3 weeks now but i still have some small sores on my face and my ear is very sore my face on the left side is numb along with 1/2 my bottom lip ..when can i expect some relief and is there anything i can do i take pain medication
