I Have Suddenly Developed Some Dryness Skin Spots Of Uneven

i have suddenly developed some dryness skin spots of uneven sizes at different places on my body like my thigh and stomach and arm I dont know exactly what it is but it just started last month and it was just one spot like a ring i assumed and that one was rough on the corners and smooth in between like a thumb sizes patch i took some ointment from my chemist tigboderm and cetrizin and it reduced a little but today after close to a month i realized it was on my stomach thighs also and these were in smaller uneven sizes and look like light burn dried kinds actually not even burn but like dead skin patches and not dead like removable dead but dead like shrink like old peoples skin kindly help me understand what it is
