I Injured My Ankle By Falling Causing A Bad Spring

i injured my ankle by falling causing a bad spring and tendon streach and tear. three weeks later my foot started to swell also along with my ankle. i went back to doc. x-rays. said i have septic artheritus and something like osteoitius of my foot bone .it is the ankle side of my big toes metitarsal bone and joint. is this possible to be caused by the injury? please over look my bad spelling.
