I Just Had A Vasectomy Last Week Thursday, Straight After

i just had a vasectomy last week Thursday, straight after iwent about my business and followed my docs instructions. i was prescribed diclophenac and and Augmentin then i started having major pains. after after 48hrs i stopped the diclofenac and after ahat i stopped the Augmentin. I began to experience a lot of pain on my left side. You can actuall see a ridge from the left towards the left testicle. I went to see my Dr who told me it might be an infection. I am now being injected once daily for the next 3 days to resolve this. Is there a risk that i may have to go under the knife again?
