I Just Had Teeth Pulled, They Were My Bicuspids. It

i just had teeth pulled, they were my bicuspids. it was about 4 days ago and the doctor told me to wait a few days and be careful around the area. i was extra careful, but on my top right tooth, the gum is starting to recede. every time i swallow or put some kind of pressure on it, it feels very uncomfortable and gets worse. any idea on what might be wrong?
