Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i need help what to give my daughter, who had a galbladder surgery couple of months ago and given antibiotic for sinus infection a week and a half ago. And very nexrt day because of her bad disposition due to severe reaction to the strong antibiotic, the dosage has been reduced. The very next day in a immediate care doctor has to taker her off of the antibiotic. My feeling is that the doctor has prescribed the antibiotic in the first place was dead wrong and there was no need for the antibiotic. After a week and a half later with the reaction to the antibiotic she is out of work on a leave without pay. She can't still eat or drink anything due to the sever reaction to the antibiotic. She has to see the doctor several times and got few blood test and other tests done, which came negetive. Now I am very upset with the doctor's negligence to find out the problem before prescribing the medicine.
