I Noticed Nits In My Sons Hair So I Bought

i noticed nits in my sons hair so i bought the head lice shampoo and washed his hair. after it dried i combed his hair with comb that came with the kit i noticed he had adult lice still in his hair. will they die or do i need to use the shampoo again?
