I Recently Had Really Bad Strep Throat And Have Been

i recently had really bad strep throat and have been on IV antibiotic and oral steroid medication. A day after finishing my steroid medication my skin broke out in acne. Its been a week now and I'm not sure its getting better. Will this acne due to steroids go away? I have leftover pill amoxicillin 875mg-potassium antibiotic medication from my strep. I heard it helps with acne. Can i crush it into a powder, mix it with water and use it as a spot treatment to make the acne go away faster. Is that safe to do.
