I Smoke Cigarettes 5-6 In A Day..n My Parents Adviced

i smoke cigarettes 5-6 in a day..n my parents adviced me to take cipla nicotex[4mg]...to get rid of it...but i cant help it n have been smoking again...so if dey conduct a tests n rslts come out...can i say it is due to nicotex n not coz of smoking...plzz suggest n sorry if i sound stupid..thanks
