I Started Taking Birth Control For The First Time 3

i started taking birth control for the first time 3 weeks ago . i am 38yrs old and i noticed my breasts increased and there is pain . can i stop taking the orthotrycyclen immediately or do i have to wait incase there are any sperms still in the body? i read they can live up to seven days?
