I Stopped My Lo Loestrin Pills N Tryed Getting Pregnant

i stopped my lo loestrin pills n tryed getting pregnant i am now having a light spotting im suposed to get a period in 3 days why arent i pregnant? am i not ovulating yet i also get really light periods n then the next cycle is heavy its on and off could that be why?
