I Take Ventolin And The Last Few Days I Have

i take ventolin and the last few days i have had to use it more often as the weather is very hot have spoken to a nurse who has told me to take 6 puffs through the chamber ,but on reading the instructions it says only 8 puffs per day and on the writing the doc has put it says take as necessary i am not on a preventatave only ventolin
