I Took My Tampon Out It Hurt A Lot More

i took my tampon out it hurt a lot more than usual and a a lot of blood was in the toilet, i got dizzy when i stood up and when i looked down there there is piece of flesh like a cord hanging out of my vagina. Will that go away or do i have to get it removed. Can i remove it myself will that hurt
