Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i was diagnosed with MS in 1996. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid Oct. 2016. I had eye swelling and generalized weakness. I went from doing 30 minutes on the elliptical to not being able to walk up a flight of stairs. I was put on Synthroid 100 mcg daily. last month I went to see endocrinologist and he changed my medication to Synthroid 88mcg and Liothyronine 5mcg twice a day. My generalized weakness did improve when on the 100mcg. the last couple weeks I have generalized stiffness that gets worst the more I walk. pain and stiffness were never MS symptoms in the past.
