I Was Diagnosed With Hep C 8 Years Ago.have Not

i was diagnosed with hep c 8 years ago.have not had any problems thus far.with all the recent new drugs available i talked with my pcp and was reffered to a gastrologist who told me i would have to wait 6 mts for treatnment because i had ocasionally consumed alcohol since being diagnosed back in 2008. i am ready to fire him where the hell is he coming from?
