I Was Diagnosed With Lpr. It Gives Me A Sensation

i was diagnosed with lpr. it gives me a sensation that i have something in my throat and is making swallowing very difficult. as almost im going to choke when i swallow whole food. pureed or liquids goes down great. will this go away once my throat heals? how long does it take to heal?
