i was given an mri and its saying there appears heterogeneous marrow signal focally with in the left half L3 vertebral body which appears hyperintense on T1 and T2 with heretrogeneous signal with both low and high signal on STIR and T2 FSsequences. end plate marrow degenerative changes are noted at the L5-S1 level where there is also seen disc space dessiccation and disc space narrowing what does this mean wondering.
