I Was On Ativan .5 3xday For Severe Anxiety Prior

i was on ativan .5 3xday for severe anxiety prior to a major surgery a hysterectomy. post surgery i did not resume the ativan but i did experience 5 weeks of menstrual cramps type abdominal pain even with motrin, tramadol and oxycodone. pain did not subside until i resumed the ativan and the same dosage and went off all pain meds. that was 2 weeks ago and although with all those pain meds i was weepy, now i am getting depressed and feeling shut down with some despair. could the ativan be causing me more depression? i'm not a depressive but this surgery and following pain episodes has really brought me down and i'm having to really manage my thoughts. thank you for any feedback. this has been complicated.
