i was recently diagnosed with cancer to my sigmoid colon and will need surgery. I was told that the cancer did not spread and contained In the sigmoid and that the colon would have to be resected to remove the cancer I want to make sure of the best doctor to go for the surgery in Hartford ct. is it necessary to get a second opinion. what questions should I be asking to determine who I should choose to perform the surgery.
