I Went To Puerto Rico 3.5 Months And Remember Being

i went to puerto rico 3.5 months and remember being at the beach and getting bit everywhere by insects. this gave me insanely itchy bumps everywhere that started as red bumps. now they are open, crusty and oozing with no signs of healing or improvement still. no signs of bed bugs and even used permethrin. doxycycline is not helping. 2 weeks of clobetasol and predisone only gave very short relief that flared worse than before. just got biopsy done with results in 2 weeks. dermatologist best guess is bad insect reaction and second less likely guess is pityriasis lynchenodes. also got 2 steroid shots as a test and those 2 spots seem to respond after a few days so far. scared out of my mind this is permanent disease and any help/advice would be much appreciated. thanks!
