Iam 40 Years Old And I Have Bp For 5

iam 40 years old and i have bp for 5 years .i take protol xl 50 and telma 40 mg in morning and protol xl 50 in night as medication .for the past two weeks i have my bp shoot up to 150/100 or settles in that range in and around .why does this happen ?what should i do
