if following breast cancer surgery and preparation for a future implant, the patient has not healed properly and weeks later upon further surgery and pathlogy on fluids, patient has now been told a bacterial infection is present so cipro has been prescribed . infection located in the alloderm which cause a lot of drainage and made healing difficult. question, what probably caused this infection following surgery and is there any alternative to cipro considering side effects?
