I'm 42 Yr Old And Had Bleeding For 20 Days

i'm 42 yr old and had bleeding for 20 days until i was given tamick-15 by my doctor for 5 days. the next month even on having tamick my bleeding did not stop. i had to undergo d&c and my biopsy report says simple hyperplasia without atypia:endometrium. my doctor has suggested to check for heavy bleeding in coming 3-4 months and if its the same, to opt for hysterectomy. is there any treatment or hysterectomy is the only solution. pls guide me.
