Im A47 Male Having A Small Problem With My Left

im a47 male having a small problem with my left leg........... the front outer part of my leg about 6 to 8 ins below the knee seems to suddenly go numb or give out for a second or two when im walking and tends to make me stumble a little ...........is this anything thing to be worried about
