In My Upper Left Thigh, I Have A Pulsating Sensation

in my upper left thigh, i have a pulsating sensation as if a phone were in my pocket and ringing on vibrate, pretty much at the same interval and duration as a regular phone ring. this has occurred intermittently over the last few months for a few minutes a few times a week. it has now been occurring for the last six hours.
it occurs when i sit and when i stand.
