Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
in the last few weeks I notice that I have been lying on my right side when I wake up, usually I am on my left side or occasionally on my back. I am 60 years 11 months old. since Dec 26 2015 I have been having to wake at 4:30am and drive 90 miles to work. I have never had high blood pressure or heart problems, but last january I had a physical (to enable me to qualify to wear a respirator at work) so they really didn't check me over real good, but I noticed my blood pressure was alittle higher than normal, normally 124/86 (or close) to 138/xxx (can't remember exactly). Anyway I am a Millwright and work 8-10 daily. sometimes very physically demanding and sometimes not. I am driving about 3 - 3 1/2 hours to and from work each day Mon-Fri. I am 5'8" and weight about 205. I have been this weight about 1 year, up from about 190 of about 5 years. I am wondering if the sudden sleep position change is indicative of any condition that may be sneaking up on me.
